With a Bank holiday this Monday August 27th, you've got to make the most out of it. Whether it be a festival, to a bouncy castle, or even just eating food all day long; you're bound to have an excellent weekend! Enjoy the time off, you deserve it!

Taking place this Saturday August 25th and Sunday August 26th with headliners like Marshmello, Chase & Status Live, and Armin Van Buuren! Two days filled with amazing music and some great new photos for your Instagram. If you can remember the two days, then they will also create some fantastic memories. Put together your craziest outfits and pull out your Athleisure, this will be an epic adventure. 

Notting Hill Carnival

Considered the largest street party in Europe and draws in nearly two million visitors each year, this is an incredibly significant London annual event. Everyone should have the chance to experience the more than 70 floats. Starting early on August 26th and 27th at 9:30 and practically lasts throughout the entire day, great for friends or family. It will be a blast, Sunday is the more family focused day of celebration where the kids can interact and even participate in the on-going events.  Yet, if you are looking for the real party is beginning on Monday the 27th, there are over 60 bands and 37 sound systems along the route. Walking along the Carnival you will find the streets filled with Caribbean-inspired food stands. Prepare for a magical weekend filled with delectable foods, fantastic music, and a wide range of fun.

 

Hampton Court Palace Food Festival

This special event begins on August 25th and ends on the 27th, with fantastic Chef’s and Baker’s like; Michel Roux Jr., Nadiya Hussain, and Melissa Hemsley. Complemented by pop-up bars, masterclasses, and music; it is fun for the whole family. They even have face painting, you can decide if that is for the kids or for your own enjoyment.  Once you buy your ticket, you will also receive free entry into Hampton Court Palace! Overall this event is all about learning and loving food; who doesn’t love food?

 

Movies on the River

Taking you down the Thames River this brilliant experience is filled with beautiful sights, a cool evening, and movies we love. This long weekend, thanks to the bank holiday we have two very popular films going on, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and The Greatest Showman. Now you may have to make a quick decision, Romeo and Juliet shows this Friday the 24th of August and the Greatest Showman on Saturday the 25th, get the girls together or make it a date night! Either or you are bound to enjoy the beauty of Leonardo DiCaprio or Hugh Jackman.

 

The Monster

Let out your inner child and visit the world’s largest bouncy castle in the UK, on tour now and visiting London from the 24th to the 27th of August. About 300 metres long, this is the most fun you will have as an adult! Not only will you be able to jump around and get your adrenaline pumping, enjoy yourself some tasty street food, cocktails to cool down, or even a cold beer. If you’re not interested in jumping around for a couple of hours there is also DJ’s and giant adult ball pits to keep you entertained. You are bound to have an excellent time.
