The grand 18th-century courtyard backdrop met with festive events on every corner make the Somerset House Ice Rink one of the most glorious in London. Apart from skating the stunning 900-square-metre rink, there are a lot of other attractions to be found. At Fortnum's Lodge you can kick back and relax over a glass of champagne, a cup of hot chocolate, desserts and a variety of appetizers. You can also shop at the pop up Fortnum's Christmas Arcade which is the perfect place to find all of your Christmas gifts! For the party hungry there are exclusive Club Nights on the rink with music from top international DJs, featuring Ministry of Sound and Island Records. An onsight Skate School is open throughout the weekends and children under 8 can join the Polar Cub Club and take their first steps on the ice at a safe seperate training rink with fun polar bear stabilisers.

Winter Wonderland (Hyde Park)

Set in one of the most magical locations in London this time of year- Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is back for the 10th year and it's about as festive as the holiday season can get. The ice rink is located under a canopy of 100,000 enchanting lights and surrounded by fairyground rides, a ferris wheel and Christmas markets hustling and bustling with delicious food. There's a Victorian bandstand in the center of the rink creating an alluring atmosphere. For adults, there are themed bars where you can enjoy live music and relax with winter delicacies such as mulled cider and wine . The Winter Wonderland ice rink is also the biggest open-air rink in the country. Whether with family, friends, or your special someone, you are bound to have a lot of fun!

Canary Wharf

This year the Canada Square Ice Rink is taking it to a whole new level! With an attraction as never seen before in London- more than 8km of colourful LED lights will be laid beneath the ice and around the rink. During every session more than 16 million different colours will be displayed offering a truly one of a kind skating experience. The surrounding modern glass buildings make an impressive backdrop, where if you you're not a fan of the ice, you can make your way up to the heated outdoor viewing terrace. You can venture beyond the ice rink to the onsight pop-up bar offering Christmas foodie goodness and hot drinks to warm up after getting off the rink. Yum!

Eyeskate at London Eye

The open-air Eyeskate rink is located in the heart of South Bank, and has a backdrop of some of London's most iconic and impressive landmarks. The rink being situated right under London Eye, creates a surreal and magical skating experience with festive surroundings all along the South Bank. Discount offers are available if you would like to combine your skating with a ride on the London Eye.
